“This a great victory for the democracy and freedom”, – added Trump in his speech last night when the results polls became clear. Four years after leaving the White House, Donald Trump is set to move back into the White house , after millions of Americans voted to give him a second chance.
The election campaign was really a long and bumpy road that will always remain in history: he managed to survive two assassination attempts and his first opponent President Joe Biden dropped out just months before election day. Kamala Harris seemed to have been conquering the polls after the drop out of Biden and was counting on the votes of women and both black and Indian community of the USA, but something went wrong during the elections, she didn’t manage to convince the voters and her chances to win the Presidency drastically weakened.
Still, we witnessed the endorsement for Kamala Harris from the most famous stars of Hollywood as George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Jennipher Lopez, Taylor Swift and such Media mogul as Oprah Winfrey, but even the participation of such influential people in the entertainment didn’t influence the vote of the Americans.
Meanwhile Trump on his side had the support of Elon Musk, who is bound to be the part of his cabinet and the endorsement of USA ‘s most famous podcaster Joe Roegan, but he didn’t have the whole star system of Hollywood on his side as Harris.

Many voters confirmed that they have noticed that the economy during the times that Trump was in the office was doing way much better than in last 4 years and it is a fact that the costs of living in USA significantly went up. Voters were also deeply concerned about illegal immigration which had reached record levels under Biden.
One of the strongest parts of the election campaign of Trump has been his will to end the endless war in Ukraine by terminating the funding and sending arms to Ukraine. Trump declares to be able to stop the war in 24 hours and to bring Putin and Zelensky to sign a peaceful agreement. Would it be possible in such a short term? It is hard to predict right now, but his voters agree that it is better to fund the internal economy to solve problems than to keep funding and sending arms to a faraway country in Eastern Europe.

Years ago, while spending time in Florida I was invited by my good friend Valerie and her parents to attend a barbeque lunch and an official dinner in Mar – a – Lago and I personally met Donald Trump and his family. Not used to drive large cars I managed to have a small car accident while parking on the territory of Mar- a- lago and hit a truck that brought in the catering for the event. Trump came out to see what happened and laughed away saying that I should practice more how to park the car, and he was right about it.
Later, during the barbeque in Mar- a- Lago Trump came up to me asking – “So, how do you like my life?” And my answer now would be – It is an interesting life full of controversies, battles and surprises and let’s see what this life will bring next.
